Pilot site description

The project consists of installing weed control mats on a surface near the new sport park 'St.-Dimpna' next to the highway (access at Eikevelden nr.83). The slopes are protected by the weed control product.

The matting has been installed in November 2011 by employees of the 'Stedelijke Werkplaats', according to the guidelines of DS Technical Nonwoven and under the supervision of Albert Cuyvers (warehouse coordinator). In the spring of 2012, the slope has been planted.

Update December 2013: Plants have covered the slope completely!
