Actions
Pilot sites in different regions of the European Union will be selected to:
- Test different variants of the weed control system and demonstrate the environmental advantages as well as its cost effectiveness and its efficiency in the medium-long term in comparison with other competitive products.
- Demonstrate the environmental benefits of the fertility mats.
- Test and demonstrate products that can become a best practice in erosion protection.
A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of the biopolymer based products will be performed.
The results of this Life+ project will be disseminated by means of:
- The organization of day-events at the different pilot sites
- Participation to seminars, fairs and exhibitions
- Inviting stakeholders of different countries
- Publication of technical manuals and reports, flyers and other promotional material
