Pilot site BLACKBURN

Pilot site description:

The matting are used at Barbara Castle Way in Blackburn. The installation took place in March 2012, followed by planting in April. A mix of colorful plants has been used. The installation is not one big area, but a number of pieces throughout the arterial road. The road is called the A677 and runs down the side of Blackburn Town Centre.

Next to that, the matting has been used in rose beds on the Pleasington Cemetery and in flowerbeds in Corporation Park.
