How does Biocovers evolve over a period of 5 years?

De Saedeleir has its own test site at Dendermonde, Belgium.

The  pictures  hereunder not only show the evolution of this test site but also highlight the perfect harmony between the Biocovers and its surroundings.

The first picture has been taken just after the installation in 2008. The last one has been taken in 2014.

This test site proves that :

1/ there is a good harmony between the mat and the environment. Please note that nowadays the color is different and there is a less shiny aspect.

2/ after 1 year the mat is not really different from the surrounding green or soil.

3/ moss grows quickly on the mat and gives it a natural look.

4/ after 5 years, the mat keeps functioning and is hardly visible.
